My name is Irina Litsky. I am a puppet designer. I was born in USSR, live and work in Israel. I create puppets, stage scenery, props for TV programs and theatrical performances.
In addition, I create my animated magnetic figures "FridgeMan" This is a magnetic game which I invented in 1994.
All the magnetic figures are my own design, each one of them is hand made.
The word "FridgeMan" means
a person who lives on a refrigerator.
FridgeMan is
a puppet for playing on а refrigerator.
This is a flat silhouette magnetic figure on hinges. A puppet is "coming alive" with a light touch of your fingers.
FridgeMan works on the Domino Principle.
Moving any joint of a puppet, you move the whole structure, and it takes various positions.
FridgeMan helps
to develop fine motor skills in babies,
to overcome an addiction from gadgets in children,
to relieve eye strain after work on a computer.
FridgeMan is a tool for teaching
drawing,
photography,
animation,
math,
yoga,
gymnastics,
and ballet.
FridgeMan in psychotherapy

on the surface of the refrigerator.
You can play with FridgeMan not only on a refrigerator, but also:
on an iron door,
on a white magnetic marker board,
on a wall that is painted with a special “magnetic” paint.
"Magnetic" paint contains iron particles,
therefore the painted surface will attract magnets.
Can be bought at most home improvement stores that have a paint section.
If the door or refrigerator is dark
you can attach a sheet of light self-adhesive wallpaper.
